We're pleased to get our blogging shoes on. We'll be talking about all things Web Development, Java and beyond.Historically we have been a mainly java-based company, but we are always looking out for ways to make the development process easier, lighter and simpler. There are a number of different directions that varying technologies are moving in to help with this idiom. Java framework stacks like the one we use, Hibernate, Spring and WebWork are becoming the first choice of a lot of Java developers, and for good reason. Developers can not only be a lot more productive with these tools, but the code that they write is simply better. It's easier to extend, debug and test.
We're also taking tentative steps towards evaluating Ruby and the Rails framework. More on that in the coming months!
