Amnesty International Report goes live

The report website is powered by WebDeck for the second year running.
Amnesty International's Report 2008, shows that sixty years after the Universal Declaration of Human Rights was adopted by the United Nations, people are still tortured or ill-treated in at least 81 countries, face unfair trials in at least 54 countries and are not allowed to speak freely in at least 77 countries.
The Amnesty International Report microsite was launched on May the 28th 2008 to a global press conference. This years report microsite was available in six different languages and made use of WebDeck's multilingual capabilities.
The content for the report was entered in each of the six languages and tagged with WebDecks internal content tagging mechanism. This allowed the site to pull back articles and images based on topics and allowed us to be more creative with the design including tag based photograph navigation and integrated tag based search.
The site also featured integrated video and comments from users and used the SEO tools provided by WebDeck to gain extremely good search results.
