Since its inception seven years ago, Real World has established itself as a market leader in graduate recruitment advice, having been voted four times as the best-read magazine on campus by the High Fliers Organisation, the leading graduate market research company.

Now Real World Magazine has been launched with a fresh look and new functionality for the new graduates of 2007. The site has been redesigned and new web 2.0 additions have been made which include:

1. Job alerts - Want to stay one step ahead of the crowd? Then register to get tailored job alerts sent straight to your inbox.

2. Regular newsletters - Every fortnight Real World send out newsletters, packed with information about all kinds of careers.

3. Competitions - By registering with Real World you can be the first to hear about fantastic competitions and giveaways. In recent months they have given away everything from a Nintendo Wii to a Video iPod.

4. Rate and comment on articles - Only by registering can you rate and comment on articles on the website. By rating articles you will help improve the quality of the content and you will also help other students find the most relevant features for them.

5. Real World awards - Check out the Facebook application we have created to enter the latest Graduate of the Year competition. Students will be invited to enter a category such as entrepreneur of the year; volunteer of the year; contribution to university, or most improved club or society.

The site is built entirely from XHTML 1.1 compliant code, Ajax libraries and WebDeck JSP templates.
