Development and launch of the ultimate fantasy football experience on web and mobile for the UK premier league.www.dugoutfc.com
"Dugout has become the best and essential FF game for me this season, loving the draft and roster and the unique teams."
"Clean and easy interface to a great fantasy football game! Now I can chat to my adversaries, change my team and watch match day all on the move..."
"The best fantasy football app around. The scoring model is brilliant and the addition of the drafting method makes fantasy football even more fun than ever before."
Dugout FC is a draft based fantasy football game for the English Premier League. Users sign up to a league and play head to head against opponent teams every weekend. It uses stats from Opta to calculate the winner of each match up.
We built Dugout on Google’s app engine so it’s incredibly scalable, and we used react to develop the mobile apps for iOS and Android. The whole system has chat embedded throughout with real time notifications on desktop and mobile. We’re super proud of this project, and because we loved the idea, we even took a chunk of equity for this work.
The draft order is randomly generated and reversed each round, so whether you get first or last pick, everyone has the same chance to pick a quality squad. In Dugout FC there really is 'only one Wayne Rooney' so be sure to shortlist the players you want, prior to draft night. Kick off your season properly with a draft night party, at home or in the local pub. With our desktop & mobile apps you can draft wherever you like.
Concept development, system and algorithm design and full web build for buzzmove.com, a price comparison service for house moving companies.www.buzzmove.com
Buzzmove is a price comparison site for home movers. We loved this idea from the start so agreed to get involved for equity. We created a pricing algorithm that allows users to generate their own quotes from hundreds of companies simply by adding items to move in each room of the house.
The platform is built on Java and angular.js and running on Amazon’s hugely scalable AWS service. During the build of Buzzmove, they were accepted into the WAYRA accelerator, and have since received multiple rounds of funding.

Whether it’s building and deploying a patient data system for the NHS, or designing new e-commerce hardware devices for a global manufacturer, we’re always using the latest tech to drive innovation for our clients.
Hardware and software development of an IoT connected scale and associated mobile app, all within a 48 hour hackathon.View project
Collaborative design and development of innovative NFC payment ring solution for use on the catwalk at high profile fashion show during London Fashion Week.View project
We entered a team into the sustainability Re.Hack hackathon from Unilever. We hacked for 48 hours and made a connected scale which can be used to enable e-commerce.
We can’t say too much about the tech right now, but it’s pretty cool IoT stuff and has a react phone app to help users configure and use it. The project has been commissioned by Unilever, so watch this space.
We collaborated with architects and developers from Visa Europe Collab, to help create a mobile app supporting a cloud-based payments system for House of Holland’s London Fashion Week SS2016 show. This enabled Henry Holland's VIP guests to purchase items of clothing at his fashion show by simply touching a specially-designed NFC ring to an enabled tag on the outfit.
The tag was linked via Bluetooth Smart technology to a virtualised terminal and Visa’s payment network.
We are engineers at heart, and are continuously improving our process to make use of the latest tools and techniques for efficient, reliable and performant application development.
We subscribe to the principles of the lean startup and run our projects with an agile methodology. We fully document each sprint with user stories and for complex stories we create annotated wireframes.
We work with clients for the duration of the project allowing full visibility of specification, current build status through burndown charts and deliverables on staging servers. Transparency is key in building trust and longstanding relationships.
