What Operating Systems do you support?
All of our products have been tested to run on Solaris 8, Microsoft Windows 2000 and Linux (2.2). Any operating system that supports JDK 1.3 should work perfectly. The databases we support are MySQL, MS SQL Server 7+ and Oracle 8+. Platform support can be found at their respective websites.
Can I use any application server?
Our products have been developed with Tomcat and JRun. However, thanks to the specifications provided by Sun, our systems will run on any server that supports the JSP 1.2/Servlet 2.3 specification.
Can you provide backup and recovery services?
Solid State Group can provide a complete end to end solution, including off-site backup and recovery.
What browsers do you support?
The web-based front ends that we develop are designed predominantly for Internet Explorer. We do test our applications on Gecko-based browsers (Mozilla, Firefox and Netscape Navigator 6) as well as Opera. The websites that we develop are browser agnostic. We can even support text only browsers like Lynx
