Mobile is fast becoming the new way to surf the Internet. With handsets coming integrated with 3G always-on net connections, and the penetration of mobile devices being almost saturated, mobile applications and sites are popping up all over the place.
Mobile are inherently a more personal device than a computer and so understanding how to create sites and applications for mobiles that do not invade too much privacy are essential. Mobiles can be used to reach a much wider audience and drive them to other channels, or even purchase through mobiles directly. It is, after all, one of the only methods that people under the age of 18 can use to buy things over the Internet.
